Description for Ferrari P4 G80 1967
This auction is for a Race Car Replica’s (RCR) Ferrari P4. Please research the RCR kit online, and we will describe this particular car here, as best as we can! Basically, the chassis is constructed of steel & aluminum, and the body is fiberglass. The front nose is removable, but not hinged, the rear lid is fully functional & hinged, and the doors open Lambo style. This car was built with a 1977 Ferrari V12 engine, six 38DCOE Weber sidedraft carburetors, and a race prepped dog ring Porsche G50 4 speed gearbox. The original kit was purchased thru RCR in 2009, and the build appears to have been taken over by Chris Hill of Autodino LLC in Kansas, in 2010. This car is street legal in the state of Colorado, and is currently vin’d & titled as a 1970 Ferrari 365GT. The Colorado title is a clean & open title. This car also comes with all of the necessary RCR “Certificate Of Origin For A Vehicle” paperwork. This simply means that the buyer can transfer the current Colorado title (depending on YOUR state requirements), OR go thru the process IN YOUR STATE to title as an RCR replica. Seller is NOT responsible for any of this process, so please do all of your own research!
At the time of the build, the V12 engine was completely rebuilt, and has very low street miles. The Porsche G50 gearbox was recently rebuilt. This car has QA1 coilover shocks & Wilwood brakes on all four corners. The tires are Avon DOT radials, and are in good condition. The exhaust is simply tubular headers with a baffle INSERT in each of the four outlets……..it does have a very mean sound! This car runs very well, and is currently tuned for our Colorado altitude. The fiberglass body is still in its original red gelcoat, has never been painted, and has never been wrecked. This car WAS driven, so there are some flaws, nicks, chips & scratches in the gelcoat (see pics), but it is still very presentable. The front laminated glass windshield is in very good condition, with no apparent damage. The rear polycarbonate window is damaged/warped from the engine heat, but is still in place.
Included in the file of receipts & paperwork, are five CD’s with pictures of the purchase & the build throughout.Car can be inspected BY APPOINTMENT ONLY M-F 9am-5pm Mountain Time (Denver CO)......please message for details. Car can be picked up ONLY AFTER FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE......NO EXCEPTIONS WHATSOEVER. Yes, we can HELP load the car, but BUYER must arrange all pick up or transportation.
