Greetings - up for auction is a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS. This is the second to last year with the amazing 4 Weber carb setup. The car has been in our family since 2001. As you can see. it is very clean. The paint is gorgeous. The interior is very good except for wear on the seats. The driver's seat has a small wear hole on the seat and a big wear hole on the side bolster. The car had its 60k major service in 2004 at Continental Motors in Hinsdale. IL. nbsp; an authorized Ferrari dealer. Since then. it's had regular easy maintenance like oil changes and such. and also been upgraded to a modern fuse block and a halon fire extinguisher. This car is very original. It still has the original ignition setup. This car has no cats. It has a later year Metric wheel and tire setup with good tread left. Car runs well. Starts right up. Steers and brakes straight. Not even the legendary balky 2nd gear on this car. However. this is an unrestored 36 year old car so it isn't perfect. But it is a solid car that I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere.
