Description for Ferrari Testarossa 1986
Selling my near perfect and rare "euro" 1986 Ferrari Testarossa "flying mirror". Most desirable color combination red with tan. 42K miles. fully serviced with recent major just completed this week from Ferrari Pennske Wynn at $30K. no expense spared (photos were taken in the Wynn showroom prior to delivery). Everything was sorted for the next owner. Work included full major service. recored radiators. heads repainted. new engine mounts. new clutch. new spark plug wires. AC. 4 wheel alignment. etc. This car is like new. I have full documentation on the work with pictures. emails. etc. This is my 5th Testarossa so I know these cars very well. and the early "flying mirror cars" are the rarest and most sought after today. Being a Euro car. it has even more appeal since it has better performance and exhaust sound. They are on their way to the half million mark. following their earlier "sisters" (512BB and Dinos). This is actually a lot more car for less money. These are the last of the affordable 12 cylinder Ferraris. Needless to say the car runs fantastic. no issues whatsoever. everything works as it should. no stories. No leaks. smoke. or funny noises. The transmission shifts so smoothly. it is a pleasure to drive. Cosmetically it is absolutely stunning for its age. The front trunk and interior have been restored. The paint is original. Other than the rear bumper with valence I had redone during its service. I also had the front chin spoiler redone and strengthened it with a new skid plate. There are a few small rock chips on the front nose and a tiny spider web like chip on the windshield (8mm). All switches and lights work. Just get in and drive. this car needs absolutely nothing. service won't be due for at least anoher 5 to 8 years. As for upgrades. I have installed an aluminum shift knob and there are factory metal shields. The rest is pure Ferrari as it was intended in 1985. This car sounds like it should being a Euro car. the muffler is much smaller and you can see through the rear grille unlike the US cars with the huge mufflers and the quiet sound. Another great part is no seatbelt mousse. you don't have to worry about that issue like on the later cars. This car will come with both original tool kits with all the coorrect tools including knock-off spanner with hammer. emergency light. tool roll and jack kit. untouched spare wheel. manuals. leather pouch. factory cover. seat cover. steering wheel cover. keychain. memorabilia. etc. It is all there. Ready for shows or concours. I have owned 30 Ferraris. FCA member for over 15 years. so I know these cars very well. buy with confidence. this isn't my fist one. and it won't be the last. Testarossas are the hottest Ferraris on the market today. The durability of the engine/chassis is what I love about them. these cars will go 200K miles without much service as long as driven often. I have seen many with over 100K miles. They can be driven daily with ease if you allowed them to. Now is your chance to enter the supercar market before it is too late. Surely a good way to park your money for a few years. Fly in and drive it home. It is located in fabulous Las Vegas. NV. I can pick you up at the airport. I can also assist with shipping worldwide. I have many contacts in logistics having sold most of my cars on Ebay all over the world. If this car isn't as described upon pick-up. I will refund your deposit. no questions asked. Call with any questions. (678) 230-7439. Sorry. no trades. I have too many at the moment ;)Car is sold as is with no warranty. I won't reply to ridiculous offers. I know what this car is worth. and prices will only go up. I stronly believe this is one of the best examples on the market. Snooze you lose. https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=RHyVRCyuFtU&feature=youtu. be
