FIAT X-19

This car was running fine until it was parked in 1983. At that time there was white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe and I decided to park it. It is most likely a blown head gasket. The gas and water will mix and pure white smoke will appear out of the exhaust.

I have never attempted to start the motor ever since it was parked in 1983.

The 4 speed manual transmission was operating perfectly.

I bought this 1976 car in 1980 and rarely drove it until it was parked in 1983. I had planned to restore it but never took the interest to proceed with it.

It has been stored for over thirty years. It has been on blocks and covered with plastics tarps over the years.

Nothing on the car has been removed. Just a couple of things have broken off (please look below on the body details).

The mechanical parts will need refurbishing. Everything on the car was functioning properly when it was parked.

The 4 cast aluminum 13" wheels were on the car when it was purchased in 1980 and seem to be rare. All 4 wheels are in restorable condition. The tires are flat.

Includes the original spare wheel and wind-up jack.

All window glass are clean.

The 2 seats were upholstered in the early 1980's and are still usable. The driver seat has two 1 inch holes. The passenger seat bottom has the cloth seam coming apart.

The black carpet is mostly intact.

When I purchased the car it was the original Fiat red color and it was painted later a gold color and then blue.

THE LIST BELOW ARE DETAILS ON THE BODY CONDITION:

The front bumper has one rubber end-piece missing (driver side).

One front turn signal amber color lens (cover) has cracks but is still intact (driver side).

The rear bumper's rubber end-piece has a 1 inch chip on the top left corner (passenger side).

One rear clear light lens has a 2 in. crack (passenger side).

The outside door handle on the passenger side does not open the door. Inner connection has come loose. Driver door is OK.

The 2 inside door handles (plastic) are cracked and will not operate.

Driver side mirror and windshield window wipers are missing.

The engine lid has the inner plate loose and is dented.

Fenders, /4 panels and doors are straight (driver's side 1/4 panel has a light dent by door).

RUST AREAS ON BODY:

Front nose shows bad rusting especially along back edge of panel. Light pods are OK.

Front hood shows bad rusting along front edge.

The inside front compartment shows rust (not eaten through). The battery support area has bad rust.

The back lid (trunk) has cracked bondo work and rust (not eaten through).

Inside the rear lower compartment on the passenger side has rust.

Driver's door is starting to rust along the right bottom edge (15 in. and corner).

The passenger side 1/4 panel has a little bubbling rust (under the paint) on the lower corner behind the rear wheel.

This car has many usable parts.

It will come with a bill of sale - sold as-is. The title, egistration, lates and keys have been lost.

The last time this car was registered was around 1984. This car should be out of the Calif. DMV system since it has not been registered in over 30 years.
