Description for Fiat 500 1968
I have a very nice Fiat 500F that I am selling. I purchased the car when I was stationed in Italy and had it restored by a local body shopback in2001 and brought it back with me upon reassignment stateside. The car has numerous modifications from a stock Fiat 500. The front brakes have been converted from drum to disc with a new conversion kit, he rims and tires are 12" instead of the stock 10" and the center caps have the Abarth scorpio, he transmission is a synchronized transmission from a Fiat 126, he motor is a 650cc instead of the stock 500 with a panda 30 head and a larger Weber 40 DCOE carb and deep sump aluminum oil pan, he steering wheel is a custom smaller wheel with Abarth scorpion horn button, he fuel tank is an aluminum spuntank replacing the steel tank, ide view mirrors are the teardrop design, ftermarket brake/clutch pedal covers that illuminate, and the front and the front/rear bumpers and engine cover are composite instead of steel. The engine runs pretty good but does have a bit of a miss at times. Just haven't had time to mess with it lately. The bottom of the car is clean. The reason I am selling is that I have too many projects and need to get rid of a few. I have kept some of the old parts that I have taken off the car (original steering wheel, ct...)and they will go with the car if sold. Thanks for looking. On Nov-29-15 at 09:55:16 PST, eller added the following information:I made a walk around video of the Fiat with it running so you can get a better idea of the vehicles condition. It is posted on Youtube, ust cut and paste the following link onto the Youtube page. https://youtu.be/5AbOqc7umd0. I tried to zoom into the problem areas and as stated in the original body the engine does sound like it is missing or nor running quite right. It is possible that I have too much carburetor for the motor and its pulling too much fuel. I have the original carb and extra parts that will go with the car if sold. Thanks again.
