Description for Fiat 124 SPIDER CONVERTIBLE 1975
For Sale a “TOTALLY RUST FREE” Arizona car….. NO RESERVE!
Highly sought after world-wide, a rust free Arizona car is the one to buy when you can. Take a good look at the pictures of this car. There is absolutely no rust.
This 1975 Fiat 124 Spider was manufactured during June of 1975 and sold new here in Phoenix Arizona, where it has spent its entire life.
Some recent work that has been professionally carried out to prepare the car for sale includes: Brand new tires, installed and balanced. New factory original muffler with chrome pipe installed. The front upper and lower “A” frame bushings have been replaced. The 4 rear axle control bars and bushings are new. The front flexible brake hoses have been replaced and the braking system has been flushed. The cooling system has been flushed and filled with new coolant. The engine oil and filter have been changed. A new transmission mount installed and the 5 speed transmission has been drained and refilled with Redline synthetic manual transmission lube. Note: The car does come with a spare wheel and tire, I took it out to photograph the wheel well.
The Spider starts first time and drives very well the brakes and clutch are in good condition and the steering and suspension feel very nice. I was driving this car on the freeway here in Phoenix a couple of days ago and I realized why so many people love these Italian sports cars. The car is REALLY fun to drive! Unlike a British sports car that is normally revving at 4500 rpm at 65 or 70 MPH. This amazing Fiat is only doing 3000 revs and I was traveling at 80 MPH. Thanks to the 5 speed transmission and the (more than willing) twin cam engine. Wait did I say I was on a freeway?? I meant to say I'm a professional driver on a closed track! Yeh that's right.. a closed track, like Top Gear....
When this car left the dealer as a new car it was fitted with air conditioning, the A/C does not work today. But seriously, who ever needed A/C in an open top convertible! I hope this car goes to someone who will love it, and the new owner will realize the extremely rare rust-free nature of this survivor car. Give me a call or email me with any questions 602 349 6909
