Description for Fiat 124 Spider 1969
RareONE OWNER - 1969 FIAT 124 Sport Convertible with factory Hardtop!
ONLY41,044 original Miles!
History:
This rare FIAT 124 Sportconvertible has been family owned and garaged kept since it was purchased new in Vicenza, Italy, by my uncle who was stationed as colonel of NATO.
The car was specially ordered with a factory (removable) hardtop and US specifications, however without a soft top due to safety concerns in Italy at the time.
Upon my uncle's retirement, the car was shipped to Denver and is now located in the Orlando area.
It has not been driven in over ten years and will definitely need some TLC.
There are a few surface rust spots: one above the front right headlight (please see photo), and some minor ones around the bottom of the fenders but are relatively small.
The interior is original and in overall nice condition with a small crack on the dash.
All the numbers are matching.
My apology for the low quality photos, better ones are available upon request as I am presently not in the same city where the car is located.
The car has a clean Florida title.
If this is the car you have been looking for as far as make, model and year, you'll probably own the lowest milage and most beautiful 1969 FIAT 124 Sport on the planet once properly brought up to its former glory.
To my understanding, 1969 was actually an unusually very low production year for this particular model.
This car is a "legend" and I would like it to find a good home and satisfied new owner who will enjoy it for many years to come.
I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have and thank you for viewing my listing.
Seriousinquiriesonly please.
Enjoy your future ride!
Please note: although I am residing in Florida, I am originally from Switzerland and would be more than happy (at no cost), to assist you in locating parts in Europe or in Italy in the event of a possible language barrier.
