1966 Fiat Nuova 500 Restored To Better Than New Condition

1966 Fiat 500 Nuova

White over red interior. Only 106 miles since restoration!

Restoration completed in 2016 with a cost of upwards of $25k

The following areas were addressed:

Exterior:

All rusted areas were addressed, new left and right floors were installed

Battery tray area was cutout and new sections welded in.

Floors, trunk compartment and inner panels were prepped, treated and sound deadening installed.

All exterior trim, handles, glass and windshields were removed to prep body.

Sand, prep and completely repaint body of car.

All exterior chrome and aluminum trim was replaced with new

All rubber body and light seals were replaced with new

All exterior lights were replaced with new.

New front and rear emblems installed.

New convertible top installed.

New front and rear chrome bumpers with mounts and overidders.

Italian plates installed front and rear.

All wheels stripped and repainted, new hubcaps installed.

New tires mounted and balanced.

Interior:

Front and rear seats, retrimmed

New turn signal switch assembly installed.

New carpeting was installed.

Black with red piping overmat set installed

New trunk mat installed.

New speedometer installed.

New door cards installed.

New sunvisor set installed

New rear view mirror assembly installed.

New shift boot and knob installed.

New tool kit, jack and straps installed.

Mechanicals:

Engine removed from car, compression test performed-all good, perform reseal of engine and gearbox.

Abarth valve cover installed.

Aluminum oil pan installed.

Stainless steel exhaust installed.

Tune up performed: new spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor and ignition points.

Rebuild carburetor, set up and adjust as needed.

All engine and transmission mounts replaced with new

Gear linkage rod replaced.

Front and rear suspension removed from car.

New front and rear suspension bushing kits install,

All suspension control arms painted prior to install.

New front suspension hubs installed.

All rubber brake lines replaced with new.

Fuel tank, sent out to be boiled and tested, refinish tank, replace fuel sender and all rubber fuel lines and install new filter.

Complete new wiring harness installed.
