Description for Ford 5 window Ford coupe 1933
I have a 33 ford fiberglass body with all interior metal work done as can be seen in the pictures. I have a 1933 fram, ll fenders, oors - trunk -glass dash- hood /w scoops-rear panel and a seat with tracks. I also have a mold for the original firewall, hich you could make that part or use that to replace the one that is in the car. The one in the car was made to hold the battery and the brake booster was molded in. . I myself would put the correct one in it. I have the original metal car that this was produced from so at this time I don't need 2 to build. I have put this glass car on a rolling chassis which is my original 1933 ford frame. This frame is old school for it is set up for a small block chev and 4 speed. The motor that is in the car was a nice running 350 truck motor that didn't smoke and I didn't need it so I just bolted it up to the old mounts. So it is mounted with the old style 1955 chev front mounts. The front is a straight axle and the rear is a cut down Chrysler rear with leaf springs with ladder bars this rear has a junk third member in it now. This body is well cured for it has been sitting in my yard for 3 years. Front & rear fenders were taken off of another car that was being built and are in very good condition other than the paint needs to be removed. After paint is stripped they may need some body work but I really don't know. All metal work is done inside the body for the doors and trunk to be hinged on. Any questions please email me. I just haven't had the time to start my steel 33 ford back together for I'm building a blower motor. This will make more horsepower then my old frame could stand. So I have decided to build a tube chassis and sell the old frame as a roller . I'm working on my bucket list and hope not to run out of time before I finish what I have to do. Note to Rodfather about jams, have placed a few pictures of them. This body has such detail you would think it was a steel body. The jambs are correc, ot angled but a perfect 90 degree same as my metal car. This car has all the same detail as my metal 33 car and it is identical but I have the correct firewall in mine that is the reason you will get the mold for the real firewall.NOTE TO SHIPPING: Buyer must arrange all shipping / packing. I will help by having all parts readily available in one place.
