Description for Ford E-Series Van 1969
Solid old school van. Ex small town ambulance. Titled and licensed and driven for fun for the last five years. Odometer shows very low miles, 5,000 of those by the my son, he current owner. Who knows if it is 43,000 miles but I bet it is.Body and frame are solid. Panels are straight. The floor has a few rust holes and a few holes which were cut but overall it is very solid as you can see in the pictures. Everything works except the fuel gauge. Shifting is through a two stick dirt track shifter. Not pictured but included is a good original bench seat. Front disc brakes off a later model Ford. Low mile rubber mounted on an old set of Cragers.
The 302, speed and 9 inch rear are original. The dual Cherry Bombs sound nice. Front is a little loose but very drivable. The carb is the original 2 barrel Motorcraft. No overheating issues.
The grill and chrome, ust free bumpers are very nice. We basically pulled out the carpet and paneling and hosed out the cooties. This is a blank canvas. Nice long lighted cargo space with four pop-outs to keep you cool. All the glass is fine. All doors lock with the ignition key.
The reserve is reasonable. Talk to owner, y son, t 402 301 9963. Fly into Omaha and drive it home.
Full payment within a week or any deals are off.
If you want it shipped we will drop it at your carrier.
I know this is not a V-Dub but it sounds nicer, oes down the road better, nd holds more toys. Ask questions before bidding.
