Up for auction is my 1964 Ford F100 short wheel base pickup. This is a super clean, ust free Nevada truck. The body and paint work were done at substantial cost, nd the body itself was in straight condition, ut the paint had seen better days. It was painted wimbleton white many years ago, nd I decided to stick with that color when I had it repainted. I have additional pictures, efore it was painted, nd the only real change I made was removing the side trim moulding that was very worn, nd i had the holes welded by the paint shop.All the rubber mouldings aroound the front glass, ack glass, nd wing windows were replaced. The glass is in good shape, nd at some point, omeone etched small deer heads into each wing window. There is one repairable chip in the front glass. The engine runs super strong, ith great oil pressure, nd the transmission shifts perfectly.Thetruck is surprisingly tight, nd drives very well.It does not smoke, he only required changes I made to it mechanically were a new battery, oltage regulator, nd alternator. When I purchased the truck, t had sixteen inch chrome wheels, nd tires. The engine is a 351, amnot sure if it is a Cleveland or a Windsor, ut ithas a ton of power, nd has a 4 barrelEdelbrock carb .I almost had power steering added at that point, ecause it was so tough to steer, ut instead I put brand new Goodyear rubber on the original fifteen inch steel wheels. That completely changed how the truck steered. Way easier, o much so that I thought putting power steering on it was no longer necessary. I removed the step bumper, oncluding that it looked better without it. The interior was in good shape, ust had to get a new door regulator on the right side. There is only about 200 miles on the new rubber, nd the paint is not knicked up at all. I have a set of red seat belts for the truck, nd a door seal for the drivers side that have not been installed yet. I also have the chrome sixteen inch wheels that I replaced.
