Description for Ford Mustang 1966

VERY SOLID, ROJECT CAR THAT IS A BLANK CANVAS TO BUILD OR RESTORE TO YOUR DESIRE...

SPECIAL EDITION, 966 MUSTANG SPRINT

Dad has been buying and collecting cars since the 1960s, nd over the past few years I have been getting them out and selling them as I find the time. He bought this car in 1980 from a woman in our town who wanted a new car. He parked it behind his business, ith several other carsand in 1984 I put it in the back of a school bus that had the back cut out of it to haul a race car; and I parked it up against the fence so to deter anyone from messing with it (or dad from selling it). In 1993 I moved it to a barn at my house, here it sat until just a few weeks ago. I got it out, ut a battery in it and ran a gas line to a gallon can and it fired right up. I got the brakes loose and we've driven it around the yard over the past couple weeks - using the emergency brakes to stop the car.

This car is VERY SOLID for any 49 year old car, t is exceptionally solid for a 49 year old Mustang. It has SURFACE RUST as can be seen in the pictures, hich will clean up. It has a very small spot of rust through in the right front fender apron, elow the battery tray, nd a couple places in the floor pans about the size of an eraser on a small pencil. The bottoms of the doors, he bottom of the quarters, tc. are very nice and do not appear to need any rust repair attention as is the case with most mustangs of this era.

As far as I know, he only things missing on this car are the chrome air cleaner, nd the part of the console that goes over the shifter.

Dad has the title from when he bought the car in 1980. He only put it in his name last week when I pressured him to get insurance on it. He has a current tag, nsurance and tag receipt all in his name. In Georgia, f you give them a title on a car that has not been registered in several years they keep your title (lesson learned on one of his other cars).

Dad is 72, nd selling his cars to pay bills. This is a rare opportunity to buy a very low mileage, ighly original project car, hat has nice original sheet metal, nd has not been beaten or abused over the years other than the surface rust from sitting outside for a while. Please bid what the car is worth to you, nd be prepared to follow through if you are the winning bidder.

In the event the reserve is not met, he final - high bid may be considered.

I can deliver it most anywhere on the East coast for an additional fee, ossibly further out West if we can arrange a schedule that is convenient to everyone involved.
