This beauty has had only one owner with 24,682 actual miles and all recommended maintenance has been performed. This Shay Model A was purchased at a Lincoln/Mercury dealership in Canton, hio. The owner has done some modifications to make the car more enjoyable. These modifications include: custom Capree top to eliminate wind noise and a larger rear window to eliminate a blind spot, nstalled a bearing block to take the play out of the steering system, hortened the steering shaft and lowered the steering wheel, dvanced timing 5.5 degrees to improve fuel economy and performance, ainted the undercarriage, nstalled correct rear view mirror, illed in gaps between instrument panel and windscreen, edesigned the windscreen seal, nstalled inside door handles, reated locks for the hub caps, emoved a leaf spring for more comfortable ride, abricated Lexan vent and side windows to replace plastic windows, odified the rumble seat lid to hold the removable side windows, ligned and leveled the pedals to improve feel, nstalled original style cowl lights, nstalled original Duo Lamp taillights, nstalled an original Model A headlamp fender support cross bar, abricated stronger horn mounts, abricated front fender support bars to remove the front fender weep, eplaced original stereo with AM/FM/CD player, xtender leg room by removing extra padding in seat backs, nstalled manual ballcock heater control valve in the cab, nstalled manual wipers, aixX on the windscreen, nstalled tinted windscreen, emoved warm air induction system for carburetor, emoved AIR pump and hardware, nstalled Cherry Bomb steel pack, nstalled period correct antique Anco vaccum fans, nstalled hood prop, nstalled 2 cup holders, abricated latch assembly for the rack cover, nstalled interior light, reated a tow feature.
