1966 427 "R" code Galaxie 500. Original interior (worn out), ostly original paint (oxidized), O RUST, gain, he car has NO RUST. All numbers matching engine, rans, earend. I am the 3rd owner, he second owner bought it in 1969 and said he would never sell it, e was true to his word and I bought it from his estate when he passed.Car sat for over thirty years with second owner. Original CA car was in AZ for 30 yrs.I have owned it for 10 years. Ithas approximately 1000 miles on first ever rebuild. All parts -crank, ods, ylinders had never been touched prior to rebuild. Turned the $ sign crank and Lemans rods and reinstalled. Even have the original engine, rans and carb tags etc.Has after market front disc brakes with dual master cylinder (still have all original parts). Comes with both the teardrop hood and the original steel hood (currently painted black) and a bunch of misc parts I've collected. One of 231 Galaxies (through all models i.e hardtop, edan, tc.) with the 427 produced in 1966. One of 102 2-door hardtop 427's built for 1966. Needs paint and interior to complete.
