1971 Ford Torino 500

Description for Ford Torino 1971

I bought this as my first car about ten years ago. Unfortunately, didn't realize the expense that would be involved in maintaining it, nd I'm not a mechanic. I only drove it for about two years before I had to park it for good because I couldn't afford to keep it roadworthy.
The car runs, ut some creatures got to the wiring, o it can't just be started with the key. It will probably need a whole new ignition system. The transmission has a vacuum leak that affects the final gear. It also needs new rubber all around (tires, ushings, tc.)
The interior is in fair condition. Most of the exterior is fine, ut the roof is in bad shape and will likely need to be replaced. I pulled the vinyl off in hopes of trying to salvage it, ut I got to it too late. There are a few other small spots of rust that are shown in the photos. The floors and fenders are good.
It's a great project car, nd I hate to give it up. Unfortunately, don't have the money to put into it right now. I don't have a garage to keep it in, nd I don't want to let it sit there and rot when I know there's someone out there who would love to have it as much as I do.
