Description for Ford Model A 1930

NO RESERVE! It's time to sell the hotrod. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed building and driving this car, ut I feel like it's time for someone else to appreciate her. It terrifies my 4 and 7 year old daughters, nd my wife prefers our cushy Caddy, o it's time to make some room in the garage for new projects.
As the detailed list below will tell you, this is an original 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan body sitting on a modern hotrod chassis that has been built in a mostly traditional style. The chassis is made from all high-quality Pete & Jakes and So-Cal components and the drivetrain is a 350ci SBC and Powerglide combo that has been built for fun and reliability with a traditional aesthetic. The chassis is very clean with all shiny powder-coated, ainted, nd chromed parts. The body is just finished in primer and has a little ways to go to before it could be ready for paint - not far though. The interior has been kept simple and clean and is meant to be open to the elements.
This car runs very well. It starts instantly and makes plenty of power - I have a few 100MPH Day of the Drags patches to prove it and the video will give you a taste of what it's capable of doing. It's also astonishingly reliable - I've driven it on two 1500 mile road trips from Austin to Joplin, O for the HAMB Drags and raced it while I was there. If you have earplugs and can tolerate the heat, wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the country - in fact, y road trips in this car are some of my best memories. That said, t is a hotrod with straight lakes-style headers, o windows, nd no roof - it's incredibly loud and can scare the hell out of you if you're not careful. The listed mileage is pretty close to accurate for the engine and chassis.
The new owner of this car could easily just drive and enjoy it as-is for years - I get nothing but compliments on it at my local Austin shows and park-n-hangs and most can't believe that I'm going to sell it. That said, t's not perfect and if the new owner decided to improve the car, hey would most likely want to focus on the body. There are still some imperfections that could use work - some of the patch panels need some finish work, he chop-line could use some smoothing, nd some small dents/issues still remain on the lower back panel. I've included photos of these areas and am happy to provide more detail on request.
