This car was one of Ford's names to fame in the 60's. With competition from Chrysler's 426 and GM's 427 Ford had no choice; they had to come up with a motor for the track as well as the street that would win. This car has just that; a true 427 'R' Code with (2) Holley 4 barrel carburetors, 4 speed and 3.50:1 rear end gears. The car has gone through a thorough rotisserie restoration on an Arizona rust free frame and body and most everything has been replaced with NOS parts or had existing ones totally reconditioned. The engine was rebuilt to exact factory specifications by Beatty and Woods Ltd. in Mississauga and dynos at 465 hp. All other mechanical parts are either new or rebuilt and function as good if not better than original. The wheels are VN427 Shelby by American Racing and were custom fit to the car. The tires are Firestone Firehawk and measure P255/45R x 17 on the front and P285/45R x 17 rear. In 2007 the car was entered at Performance World Toronto and won best in class.
