Time to pass my 1975 Ford F250 4x4 on to someone else. I am the third owner of this truck, purchased it from the son of the original owner. It was purchased in Omaha Nebraska in 1975 by a gentleman from Iowa. He drove it sparingly until his health declined and the truck was parked. The son I purchased it from brought it out to Oregon after his father passed andhe retired from the Marines, e kept it around and used it around his place and for hunting etc. He decided to sell it when he got to where the truck was hard to get in and out of, 've had it for about 6 years. This truck has ALWAYS been adult owned, t has never been beat on or four wheeled. The only reason I am parting with it is, don't use it, t's too nice to haul gravel and stuff in and I have a Jeep CJ I want to finish restoring and I need the room. It's been stored in my barn since I got it and the guy I got it from stored it inside also. That being said the truck is very original, t retains all of its original running gear, aint and interior. The things that I know are not original to the truck are the intake manifold and carburetor, he 2 barrel is long gone replaced by a vintage Holley Streetmaster and 1850 4 barrel carburetor. There are also the remains of some old saddle tanks that were installed in 1975, I have the receipt for that). The tanks are long gone but there are some brackets and a valve remaining.These mods were done back in the day by the original owner. It originally came with a sliding rear window, replaced that with a solid one, still have the original slider and it goes with the truck. The truck is SOLID, here is no rust out anywhere on this vehicle.The only spots where there is anything negative are where the original owner had some tie down brackets installedin two places on the bed sides near the tail lights.These spots have light surface corrosion on them, 've never tried to buff or remove the corrosion. Virtually everything inside works as it should, M radio, eater, ipers, peedo, ost interior lights work, couple bulbs maybe needed, ven the backup lights work as they should. The truck runs and drives great, t would however benefit from some regular use. Please do not think that this rig is perfect, ts not.There are various very small dents and faded paint spots and the front windshield is cracked, hat's a real bummer because its the original 1975 windshield.... This rig has sat unused for many years, irtually all or the seals and gaskets in the motor are dry and leak to some degree, like to say "Its a good Ford, ust marking it's territory". It also has an exhaust leak near the manifold. I have the original owners manual, indow sticker, uild sheet and some receipts from the previous owners. I even have the receipts for the set of tires that are on it now, rom November 1996, ate codes on the tires confirm this. Tire condition is about 90% tread remaining.
