Description for Ford Other 1932
32 Ford Highboy Roadster. This is the 2011 Shades of the Past Giveaway car that was built by Alloway's Rod Shop. It has only been driven approximately 600 fair weather miles and still shows as brand new. The arrow straight body is coated in a mirror finished Synergy Green and looks absolutely fantastic. All the bright work has been given a very clean brushed finish for a modern. high tech look. The bottom is just as slick as the top. The leather interior was done by Steve Holcomb at Pro Auto Interiors. The engine is a 350 GM crate and transmission is a TH350 reman. The rear end is a cast finned 9" Currie unit which has been meticulously smoothed just like the rest of the chassis. The suspension and brake lines are stainless. The exhaust has been ceramic coated. This is a car to see and drive. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Check out the photos and come see the car in person if you wish. You won't be disappointed! This car was won by of our customers at Shades of the Past. It has been stored in their home garage ever since. only getting it out for a couple of local car shows and parades. Bobby Alloway estimated it would cost well over $100k if a customer were to commission them to build it. This is your chance to own it for a fraction of that price. The car is available for inspection in Lenoir. NC by appointment. If you have any questions. please do not hesitate to ask. Also see the additional photos by clicking the link below.
