Plow Truck good for a lot or long drive.

Description for Ford F-350 1988

Ford F250 Custom on the truck. the vin pulls it as a F350. Truck has a 8. 5ft Western Unimount V-Plow. There is also an old spreader if a person wants it. It did work last season. I have had this truck for four years. I put a plow on it three years ago. When I bought the truck the transmission was slipping in reverse so I had it rebuilt. This truck is a solid snow mover. and would be great for someone who wants to get out of the cold on an atv or tractor. I do have it plated so it can go anywhere you like. Not a great highway truck because of three speed transmission. Plow alone is worth 3000. 00. Plow could be put on any truck. but the 7. 3 diesel in the trucks its on has always run solid. Don't know how long it will continue to do so. but that is one thing we have never had a problem with. Now I will say you need to leave it plugged in so it starts. The glow plugs on those old trucks just don't work. As long as its plugged in it fires right up. If left unplugged you can shoot a little ether to it and it starts right up. I will answer questions to the best of my ability. Truck is sold as is. No warrantys implied or expressed. I think this would make someone a great lot truck or local running truck. I have put two brand new tires on the rear. The truck will ride in two wheel drive or 4 high. 4 low works but the linkage is out of line to get it into low. I don't push in low so I never messed with it. I have pushed a lot of snow with this truck and had good luck with it. Not much can stop it. Western Plow works as it should. V Plow comes in very handy on long runs where you are trying to capture more snow and make less passes. I put a new hand held controller for the plow in the truck last year which cost 330. 00. I can't stress enough that this truck needs a person who can tinker and has some understanding of mechanics. I do have this truck listed for sale locally so I will end the auction if it sells.
