Description for Ford Mustang 1972
BARN FIND: This is a 1972 Mustang Fastback that came with the following options: tilt steering, ower steering, ower brakes, ir conditioning, ear defrost, ackometer built in dash. Trip set built in the dash. Oil gaug, temperature gauge and alternator gauge in center of the dash. Console with built in clock. This car also has disk brakes on the front of the car. The frame on this car appears to be fairly solid. Torque boxes are good. Rocker panels are good. There is some rust on the floor boards on the drivers side and rust in the trunk floor in the back. The inner and outer doghouse in the rear fenderwell are in really good shape. The drivers side seat is pretty bad but the rest of the seats are in decent shape, hey really look hardly used. Front left fender has rust on the bottom. Front hood has rust underneath. The rear trunk lid has some surface rust but not too bad. Right rear quarter has had some work done to it and would not take much to fix it up. There is some surface rust on the car in various places(refer to pics). Engine will start up with a small gas tank hooked up to the carburetor to run it to load onto a trailer. Transmission was tested on a lift and seemed to be ok. Brakes do work but this car has been sitting since 1992 so it just needs to be gone over. The windshield is just sitting in the spot it belongs but is not fastened down. The chrome to the windshield of the car is in the trunk. The gas tank and straps is in the car and radiator shrowd as well. This was an H code car which meant it was a ram air induction car but that stuff is no longer with the car when I got the car. The hood still says ram air on the car. This car is pretty much in the same condition as I got it but has been sitting awhile. I have been unable to work on this so therefore I decided to sell to make room for other things. This car is being sold AS IS WHERE IS...no warranties intended or implied. I reserve the right to remove this listing anytime I need to as I do have this for sale locally. Shipping is the buyers RESPONSIBILITY. Thank you and Happy Bidding.
