I am the second owner of this totally original Survivor. This truck was purchased new on March 25th, 969from Rogers Ford Sales of Midland, Xby the original owner wholived in Odessa, X. When I purchased the truck 2 1/3 years ago thedealer stated the following: the truck had spent it's entire life in north TX and was used primarily to travel to/from Ft Worth, X; when the owner died his wife properly stored the truck in a climate controlled garage for 25 years; there was no accident history; ithas all of the original paint, nterior, ower-train and even the original spare tire.Also based uponthe dealer's research hedetermined that this color code (D)was very rare and was only used for a short period of time by Ford. The truckhas a 3 speed manual transmission, 60 cu in V8, ithA/C and the Ranger/Explorer package and a Ford dealer installed second gas tank under the drivers side truck bed. Prior to my purchase thedealer performed a complete inspection which included needed repairs for safety and functionality along with fluid changes. I had the truck shipped to PA in an enclosed trailer and it has been stored in my garage ever since except for brief periods of use. The truck starts and drives with no issues. I have not replaced the tireswhich were onthe truckduring the years in storage. When I purchased the truck it had 87,769 miles which the dealer stated was 100% original.
