BOSS 351

You are looking at a very low production 1971 Ford Mustang BOSS 351. These cars were only produced for one year and are really climbing in value. Ford only made 1806 of these Boss 351's in 1971 making them harder and harder to come by.

The Boss 351 4v 4Bolt main Cleveland motor was one of fords fastest motors. Many claim that the Boss 351 was one of Ford fastest factory cars turning a very fast time in the ¼ mile. The engines in these cars are very hard to come by and luckily this car still has the original engine with the VIN stamped on the rear of the block.

The car is a project but will be a very valuable car once restored. The good thing about the car is that it does have many of its original parts.

Interior:

All of the interior is original and very complete. The car still retains all of the factory seats, ach Gauges, adio, verything. The original spare tire is still in the trunk.

Glass:

The car has all of the original glass and it is in good condition.

Body:

The body of the car does need rust repair. The roof, nd windows channels are very good with no rust. The area around the trunk weatherstripping where the quarters come to the trunk is also very nice. I would plan on putting a new trunk floor, ew hood, ew quarters, ew doors, ender patches, owl work, alight panel replacement or repair, ear frame rail end work, loor pans and other smaller miscellaneous rust repairs. Needs rust repair. Original engine is out of car and apart and is not 100% complete. Block heads, nd intake.

This is an excellent opportunity to get a highly desirable and rare Boss 351. One of the best color combinations that was on a mustang and it has its original engine!

You are looking at a very original 1971 Mach 1. Original Bright Blue Metallic Paint with blue Mach 1 sport interior option. The car is overall very complete and would be a great car to restore and get back on the road. Almost every piece is there.

The interior is actually in very good condition and its amazing how nicely the seats have been preserved. The entire interior is present which will make restoration much simpler.

The body of the car is overall not that bad. It has rust in the typical mustang areas. Floor pans, ower fenders, ower doors, uarters and outer wheelhouses, nd the underside of the hood. The frame rails are in great shape front and rear, nd the trunk pan is also in great shape.

Engine is a 351 2v with an FMX automatic transmission. It has a 9 inch rearend. When I put power to the car it does crank over. Everything seems to be present in the engine bay including the air cleaner.

In the pictures the car had two flat tires but those have since been fixed. Car rolls and steers just fine.

All of the glass is intact and in good shape.

Anyone interested can come and inspect the vehicle at almost any time. I will help with shipping the car overseas.
