Description for Ford Ranchero 1977
I am selling my 1977 Ford Ranchero 500, ith a rebuilt 302 2-Barrel, nd auto transmission (it was checked and only needed re-sealed). It was totally restored from the ground up in 2011, nd I have most of the receipts to prove it. It is an Alabama truck that was never rusted, ut was repainted a custom bright red with gloss black stripes and lettering. The interior was also redone to match, ith a matching custom tool box, port steering wheel, nd woodgrain dash trim. It has base coat, lear coat paint, prayed in bed liner, ustom painted moldings and bumpers, long with a fully detailed engine compartment. The exhaust, rakes, uspension, nd steering parts where all redone. I just installed a new set of 17x7 and 17x9 chromed aluminum American Racing wheels, ith new tires. The clock, adio, nd A/C all work as they should.I bought the truck from the individual that did the restoration, nd the only flaws I have noticed, here that it appears he got some tiny black splatters on some of the red door and seat upholstery, hile painting some interior parts. I have not tried to remove them, ue to them only being noticed if you look closely. The driver's door lock button seems to have not been put back in position before the door panel was installed, o there is an empty hole in the top of the door panel. I have had it into a mechanic, nd he found there is a problem with the rocker arms not wanting to stay tight on the headstuds. I have had them tightened, ut will include a nice set of better flowing heads, nd a Holley 4-Barrel intake, n case it happens again! I have all the paperwork to prove the 302 engine was rebuilt, ut they may have not replaced the rocker studs like they should have. If you are a body man like me, ou may also notice to be more perfect, he paint could be wet sanded and buffed a bit more. To most average onlookers it looks very nice though, nd has won a trophy at every show it entered.
My reserve is less than it would cost you to build it, nd if you have any questions, lease call or email me.
