Description for Ford Mustang 1968
Relisted, idders came so close to winning the car but just missed the mark. This is a Driver where as it has cosmetic flaws. Mechanically this car is sound. I would drive it across country. I drive it weekends.Tork boxes solid, here is a patch on the drivers side rear floor was just screwed in and a patch welded in the trunk passenger side by previous owner All other floors are solid, river side 1/4 panel was replaced passenger side looks original. All metal Not full of bondo. This car was manufactured Jan.6th 1968 which may explain the 1967 1/4s. Like I said this is a driver not a show car by no means but can be with some effort to make correct or into astreet rod. It turns heads and I get comments everywhere I go though. It is a numbers matching 289 2 bbl.engine and C-4 trans. Dash has NO cracks. All gauges, ights, lectrical work flawlessly. Interior is all original except for the steering wheel and kick panels the original kick panels were cracked. I have New dashplastic piecesfor the glove compartment and center but not needed, lower side aluminum trim, heel well trim, lso I'm including a vinyl top and trim all are uninstalled. All are brand new from CJ Pony. Cap, otor, ires, arb, as tank, ires and rimsall new. Fairly new paint( previous owner said the car was painted 2 to 3 years ago)Thiscar runs like a Swiss watch. True mileage unknown because someone down the line added the 10th to the title but it runs smooth and not a hint of smok, ockers are clean,Which leads me to believe the engine may have been rebuilt at some time ormeticulously maintained. Drives down the Parkway at 70 mph no problem drives strait, rakes strait. All 4 drum brakes rebuilt and adjusted withnew parts and installed. Previous owner didn't install brake adjusters nor did the brakes correctly. I myself rebuilt and adjusted them now they work great. The value of this car according to all the classic car price guides, agerty, ada, elly Blue book all have a valuein it's present condition of between $16,000 to $25,000. respectfully. I'm just looking to break close to even with what I've investedin the car.I have too many vehicles and this one has to go to make room. Vin is in listing and build plate pic is in pictures look it up. Thank you for looking and happy bidding :)On Jul-28-15 at 14:37:41 PDT, eller added the following information:

I CAN SMELL B.S. A MILE AWAY. I WAS BORN NOT YESTERDAY BUT 50 YEARS AGO. On Aug-19-15 at 19:30:30 PDT, eller added the following information:3rd times the charm or the car either gets parted out or thrown in storage I haven't decided yet. All I know is I'm not giving this car away. This will be the very last time this car is offered on E'bay. I'm tired of having to deal with all the scammer e'mails and B.S. on this site. Truth is I have too many cars and not enough room. I just bought a 2015 Jeep Rubicon and it takes priority over the Mustang and my 72 Javelin SST. So both of them go either way. For those who have been bidding and those who are watching and showing interest Thank you very much.
