1964 Galaxie 500 convertible, will say that i bought this car just how you see it and have done nothing but drive and enjoy the car. The car is now only showing 477 miles since having a frame up restoration. When the restoration was started, very nice original north Georgia car was found and used. Anything original to the car was reused if it had no issues, he purpose was to try and keep the car as original as possible. All of the body was gone over and put back into theoriginal Skylight Blue factory paint, ith zero rust issues. The original interior of the car was to good to swap out, oyes the interior that you see in the car is the original interior to the car, s is the factory white convertible top. The convertible top was not changed outbecause their was no need, ue to the fact that the top had no issues and stillhas no issues with it, .e. any rips or tears. The motor and transmission in the car was told to me to be theoriginal factory 352 4 barrel with cruise-o-matic, ut the car wears 390 badges on the fenders to make the car appear as if it is the larger Z code car, nd not itsfactory X code. That appears to be the onlychange from factory that was done. The engine compartment is detailed out to appear just like it came from the factory with all the factory hose clampsand stickers. Just like the engine compartment the trunk isfinished out just as if it came off the show room floor. Inside the trunk of the car, he fender skirts for the car are their, s well a few extra parts for the car. Besides the fender the skirts, he car also features factory power steering and power top. This is a very eye catching car, ith loads of curve appeal. And to be honest the car rides like a dream, ith to myknowledge everything working just as it should with the exception of the factory radio, hich comes on but has just some static at times. I would have no issue at all putting my wife in the car had telling her to just take off and enjoy the day.Truly a car that youshouldn'thave anyworries about.
