1948 Anglia with Race and Road history
This car was original set up with 396 chevy and drove on the road and then drag raced in Englishtown, .J. late 70's and 80's. Was garaged for over 30 years and then purchased by new owner and sent to famous New England custom car and race car fabricator Bob Pierce.
Bob completely dissembled body off and found the original frame was trash. He built a completely new frame, nstalled a brand new FatMan front end and completely rebuilt a Corvette straight axel rear end. He then located new grille and hood for the car. After all the new parts and labor of fabrication to the tune of $13,000 the owner could not afford to go any further.
I bought the car from the owner and had visions to complete the build, ut you know how that goes.
The car has disc front and drum rear brakes. There is a set up for a short block if you wish with motor mounts.
Included with the car as shown in photos are ladder bars, as tank, adiator, ll the glass and rubber, ights, attery box, oor and trunk handles and hardware, teering wheel with all the linkage, wo ricaro race seats, oor panels and more.
The car is ALL METAL with very cool old school wheels.
It needs the floor pan and fire wall all is available already prefabbed and tub wheel metal. All these pieces are available to pop right in. I believe I have the catalog to order from.
I can of course assist with the loading on trailer or car carrier and you are responsible for the transportation charges.
The car is sold as is so if you have any more question, lease ask. I do have paper work along with 3 or 4 registrations from R.I. and different owners as such.
At the end of the auction and you are the winner you have 24 hours to deposit $1,000.00 to my pay pal account. The balance is due with in 6 days of the auction.
