1968 Ford F100 Ranger

Up for auction is a 1968 Ford F100 with the Ranger trim package. This truck has underwent a complete frame offrestoration. I tried to keep the truck as original as possible. The truck has what I believe to be the original 360 engine and the original 3 spd on the column transmission. The engine was completelyrebuilt with 30 over pistons, ew cam, earings, ings, ifters, nd a new 2 barrelcarburetor. I added new chrome Power by Ford valve covers, hrome oil pan and a chrome breather top to the original breather just to dress up the engine compartment. The transmission received a new pressure plate, lutch andbearing. NewU joints in the drive shaft and gears in the rear differential. New shocks on all four wheels. The brake system was completely updated by adding disc brakes up front.New rotors and drums and new pads and shoes were added. Also anew chrome power brake booster was installed. I found some Dan Gurney slotted mag wheelsand placed new white letter tires on them. Power steering was added to the truck with new steering links. Newcab bushings and suspension bushings throughout. Truck was painted back to the original Raven Black. There is justa few flaws in the paint. The interior is close to original with the parchment color. The seat inserts are not original as I could not find the Granada pattern. I did recover the seat and added new carpet. I kept the original dash pad.I used new door panels that would have been found in a 70 model F100, s I liked them better than original. The headliner is new and the visors were restored. It has a full length floormat. The fire pad is also new.The truck has anew speedometer cluster. All new glass was installed by a local glass shop. The side glass, ent glassand backglass is tinted through out so it will never peel. The bed has a rolled in bed liner on the bed floor. The truck has new exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and 3 inch chrome tips.All bolts and screws were replaced with stainless replacements. All mouldings including side trim, ower trim, ailgate, ront and rear bumpers are new. The frame was painted with por 15 then topped with base coat clear coat paint. The truck runs and drives great. The truck listed does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale only. Alabama does not title vehicles this old. Shipping will be up to the buyer. I will assist in loading.
