1955 Ford Thunderbird w/ Removable Hardtop

RESTORED 1955 FORD THUNDERBIRD WITH A RARE 3 SPEED OVERDRIVE MANUAL with the 292 CI Y-Block V8 Ford engine. Although the new odometer indicates 162 miles on it there is no indication of actual miles on the vehicle. However, t had a major engine and transmission overhaul in the late 1970's.lt has been driven fewer than 1000 since restoration in 1980's. Presently it has an electric fuel pump, mercury manifold, nd a 2 barrel rebuilt carburetor with paper filter on it. I also have the original stock manifold and rebuilt Stock carburetor, he stock oil bath air cleaner, new mechanical fuel pump and a new water pump lt does, owever, ave an oil filter adapter installed. In the 1970's, he body was removed from the frame, nd had basic body work completed, ll new brakes and brake lines, ngine and transmission rebuilt and a stainless steel exhaust system installed. In the late 1980's, an Luis Customs took the finish down to bare metal and it had a concourse on the outside black lacquer paint job applied. It has Power Windows, ower Seats, nd Interior is in the Classic black and White. The Hardtop is in excellent condition with all new gaskets and a new headliner, nd has a new aftermarket soft top and a white toneau cover. All of the dash, he seats, oor panels and the carpet and the chrome was redone in the 1980's. It has a clean and clear California title. We have many extra parts. Including an extra white hardtop, 5 ford hubcaps, he old generator, he manual fuel pump, nd a new water pump electric and foot manual pump and windshield washers
