You are viewing a very rare and original Henry Ford steel car. Everything is original Henry steel. The car was assembled in Argentina and was left hand drive originally. Cars shipped to Argentina were shipped in parts and assembled there as well as the rest of world back in the day. The grill has a stamp showing the car was originally from Argentina. The car spent the majority of its life there and was also restored there approximately 20 years ago. The car was sold and imported to the US soon after it was restored and in the process switched to left hand drive. The car runs and drives excellent and is a solid driver and very presentable.

Body/Paint: The body is in very good condition with not rust or dents. The paint is single stage enamel deep Maroon very close to original. The paint is a solid 8 out of 10 with a few small chips. Shinny and very presentable.

Top: The cloth top is in very good condition and tan in color with glass window. A brand new boot comes with the car.

Interior: The interior is primarily stock in appearance. The seat adjustment is on the right side since the car was originally right hand drive. Also the speedo is in kilometers since it originally came from Argentina. Wiper arms come with the car with the vacuum wipers not currently working. The interior is very nice with leather seat and door covers. The rumble seat cover matches the interior, ut is supple vinyl. The color is the gold tan with a tint of yellow. Very attractive and in very nice condition.

Running Gear: The engine is an upgrade newer 8BA rebuilt when the car was restored with low miles. The heads are original in order to maintain the original look. Stock intake, istributor and carb with custom air cleaner. 6 volt electrical system. The transmission is an upgrade to 39 Ford 3 speed. Rebuilt when the car was restored. The rear end is stock and in very good working order with stock gears. Original gas tank that is in good condition with new bottom. New stainless steel reproduction comes with the car, ut is not needed.

Suspension: The underside of the car is restored showing some signs of use, ut very presentable. The entire suspension is stock.

Bright work: Stock, estored and very presentable with original restored bumpers.

Glass: Replaced when restored.

Exhaust: Dueled off with stock exhaust manifolds and glass packs mufflers. Sounds very nice.

Brakes: Converted to original 40 Ford juice brakes.

Wheels/Tires: Original wheels restored and power coated with 39 trim rings and caps. Brand new Coker radial tires with only 500 miles or less on them.

Summary: This car represents a higher end driver. Good for local shows and enjoying driving around town. Cabriolets are rare and hard to find represent the best of Fords in 37. Don't miss out on this affordable collector car. Sorted out and needs nothing other than be driven and enjoyed.
