Description for Ford Thunderbird 1984

The time has come to part ways with my turbocoupes, his is a nice example of a first generation turbocoupe, nbsp;the car has just over 68,000 original miles and is very much original and untouched. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner who cherished it. the car was sitting in probate for several years outside by family members who didn't care about carsand did not run when I purchased itdue to neglect andsitting. I installed a new fuel tank, ew sending unit, ew in tank fuel pump, ew fuel filter, econditioned injectors, nd a new battery to get it up and running I also installed a new ac condenser but did not charge it as the moisture from sitting should be removed prior to charging. the body is very solid with minimal surface rust just starting on the underside of some panels as well as undercarriage but nothing that cant be seen in the pictures so please study them, here is also some light rust just under the rear window that's why the molding is removed but I decided not to touch any of it, o you can see what is there and repair it to your liking. the panels do have dings and chips along the sides and the left rear quarter and front header panel appear to have been repainted, he hood has 2 dents in it 1 near the header panel the other on the left side, he rest of the car is original paint and presents good. The interior is very very nice it has minimal sun fading, o cracks or stains and probably isthe nicest I have seen in awhile it even still has the original leather bag for the sunroof the only thing is the piping on the drivers seat will need repair to be perfect. The engine runs very well no noise or smoke but im guessing it still has most of the original parts on it from 84so a new timing belt etc is recomended, he injectors I purchased are 35 lbs and the originals were 30 lbs so it does run on the rich side during warm up. The trans shifts good and the rear is a 342 posi that's makes no noise, rakes seem good and exhaust is original but very solid. the suspension feels good but does rattle now and then. the rims are original and showing some discoloration in the clear coating, the tiresmay possibly be the originals and have dry rot. Both fog lights are original with covers. Everything in this car works except for the ac that's needs to be charged and the right side window motor needs a plasticgear kit (very common on these cars). These cars are becoming very collectible and prices have skyrocketed on them in the last few years so here is a chance at a nice very original survivor with low miles . Though thiscar runs well I did not choose to register it so I recommend a good once over before driving it any long distance, lso CT does not title cars of this vintage andis being sold on a bill of sale only, ut I will include all the probate info so you can documentits past. please ask any and all questions also I have everything to convert this car to a 5 speed if desired as well as a ram air hood both are for sale if interested.also the silver 85 will also be up for auction but is heavily modified if that's more your taste. Just noted I forgot to mention the low washer fluid light is on though the fluid is full and someone pointed out to me that it has a 85-86 style grill
