1940 FORD PICKUP!!!!You are looking at a complete original 1940 Truck. Mostly all original sheet metal with the original flathead V8 and 3 speed top loader transmission. Truck has gone thru a frame off restoration about ten years ago (cab corners were metal repaired; Very little metal work had to be done). About 6 small areas of paint touch up was done in the ten years since restore. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer truck that is all original. As you can tell from photos everything is correct on the vehicle (front dual cap distributor; vacuum wipers etc). Has a FORD SCRIPT working heater with working blower motor. Added interior light. Still 6 volts (new battery). Neworiginal replacement rubber mat & insulation floor matting. Comes with an extra set of 4 white lettered tires (will fit in bed for shipping). Runs, rives as 1940 new. Wipers not hooked to vacuum. Very tight steering for 1940. All perfect glass & working roll up door windows with air tight glass frames/seals. A set of wide whitewall tires on this would make this even more perfect! This will not go cheap and simply will not be sold unless the price is near value of the truck. I'm perfectly happy to not sell it unless I find another custodian willing to pay correct value. Truck is in excellent condition. A new Bob Drake FORD Script triple plated front bumper is on *back* order. It will be installed for the new owner, r if it arrives "after" purchase, ill be shipped direct to new the owner.The one on the truck presently is new, utit was bent trying to pull truck around parking lot (not by me; I know not to do that). The bumper mounting braces are undamaged.

Please view other 1940 or 1941 Ford trucks on Ebay for better pricing ideas/options. Keep in mind: my truck has a 1940 original mounted front of block distributor as per 1940(if a period motor is preferred; among other goodies). I can work small price miracles for an "in your garage" ownership moment in time, et-R-Done purchase.
