Description for Ford Crown Victoria 1955
Here is a very nice and very beautiful 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria. These cars are very RARE and hard to find, specially in this condition. Please read the whole description. The Vin on this car is U5AW124931. The U means cars came with 272 V8 with 162HP which is what is still in the car. It still has the Ford O Matic transmission as well. The 5 indicates the year with is 1955. The A tells you the car was built in Atlanta Georgia. The W means it is a Fairlane Crown Victoria . The rest of Vin is the production number. The trim tag reads: Body - 64A which tells you it''s a Crown Vic with the Solid Top. The Color Code is RE3 which states it came a two tone Torch Red on bottom part of car and Snowshoe White on the top part of car which it still is today. This car has been painted about 20 years but you would not know it by looking at it. The Trim Code is L which means it came with Red and White Vinyl Interior as it still has. It was produced the 8 day of Febuary ( 8B ) according to trim tag. This car is in terrific condition. The paint was just buffed to a mirror like finish. This car has been painted about 20 years but you would not know it the way it looks. All the chrome on the car and there is alot of chrome looks great. ( bumpers, umper guards, indow trim, ide trim etc.. ) The interior is very nice and looks fabulous. The engine runs good and transmission shifts good. It has the correct BF Goodrich Silvertown Polyester Tires with the correct Hubcaps. The Continental Kit really make it stand out. The trunk is finished to match the interior and looks great. The spare tire well and fender well look great from inside the trunk with no rust. All the lights work including Head Lights, ail Lights, linkers and Brake Lights. The doors close very easy and the windows roll up and don good. There are no cracks in any of the glass. The windshield does have a wiper mark on the passenger side but don't feel scratched. The underside of car looks to have had all 4 floor pans replaced at some point but are solid now. The rockers look good with the exception of the front rocker box on drivers side has a rusted thru place on it. No other issues that I see. Overall this car is Beautiful and turns alot of heads. Though not perfect is a a very, ery nice car. I have alot more pics of this Crown Vic if you are interested in seeing them just let me know. The odometer is showing a little over 101,000 but I don't know if that is actual or not. Looks to be but again don't know. This car is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on nut must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought this car. Please understand this. This car is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia WILL NOT issue a title on a car this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking
