Description for Ford Deluxe Sedan 19400000
FOR SALE:
1940 Ford Deluxe SedanTudor hot rod project or drive as is.
I'm only calling this a project becauseit lacks a shiny paint job. The body on this car is very nice and would only take minimal work to have it ready for new paint. Or it could be left as is and driven. The car is painted in hot rod black. It does have some scratches and a few chips.
This is an excellent running and driving rod, have driven this car to several out of state car shows, just got back from the NSRA Street Rod National (250 mi. round trip) andas always it performed flawlessly.
Chassis: Original frame, " dropped axle,Posies spring, ower steering, plit wishbones, ront disc brakes, nbsp;9" Ford w/parallel leaf springs, ear drums, ew non power brake master cyl, ew exhaust, nbsp;poly tank w/electric fuel pump, ower steeringdoes have asmall leak.
Engine:Mild 350 Chevy with an Edelbrockintake and Holley carb, alker radiator, lways runs cool.
Trans: TH350 w/Genie shifter.
Body: All Steel, o rust. Nosed hood, olded rear fenders, ew steel running boards, ront and rear bumpers tucked closer to the body and lowered. Could use a new tailpan.
Interior: All new in 2015, riginal front and rear seats, llante vinyl covered, ll new interior panels, ew suede headliner, ew SW gauges, ll new wiring, 8 Ford Deluxe column/steering wheel. New steel bead rolled steel floor from firewall to rear seat. Missing the windshield garnish molding, assenger door window is cracked, amp; has a small rock chip in the windshield.
This is not a perfect car, t is a hot rod. I built this car to look like it was built by a serviceman after the war.It is not a street rod (no air/pwr windows, tc),but could easily be taken that direction if desired.
Please call me at (270)316-seven two one seven or send an email at neilpate71@hotmail.comwith any and all questions .I do my best to accurately describe the car in the description so that there are no surprises but inevitably something gets left out. I can email or text more pics if needed.
Thanks for looking.
