This is not a truck you find everyday especially in this condition & factory options. 1978 Ford F-350 Ranger XLT 2WD Camper Special. Only 133K original miles and we are the third owners. Runs and drives nice with the original 460ci V8 and automatic transmission. Rare & desirable QM color code (Tangerine Orange/White) Highly Optioned truck from the factory, ptions include: Air Conditioning, ruise Control, ual Gas Tanks, ual Batteries, ower Steering, ower Disc Brakes, amp; Rare Bedside Spare Option only available on this model. Brakes were completely overhauled a year ago and wheels/tires are less than two years old and have had little miles on them since. The original wheels were kept & will be included if buyer wants them to switch back to stock look. The original electronic brake controller/tow package was replaced/updated with a newer style one at the same time the brakes were done in 2014. The engine compartment has been dressed up with an aftermarket aluminum intake manifold, delbrock chrome valve covers, amp; air cleaner. I will include the original valve covers, anifold, amp; air cleaner in case someone would like to switch back to stock condition or needs to for emission purposes.
NO RUST & there are only three minor imperfections near driver/passenger side mirrors that are minor and can be accessed through the door panel and easily fixed & previous owner had paint color matched & touched up a spot on the bed side spare compartment, he rest of the body is NEAR MINT/STRAIGHT. Truck has always been garaged and well maintained & that is easily depicted in the pictures, ut they still don't do it justice. Paint shines really nice. Interior is in excellent shape as well, riginal seat upholstery is perfect. Dash lights are the one thing that went out last year & I haven't had fixed but Everything else works: Lights, ipers, eater, C, adio, tc. This truck isn't perfect or "frame off restored" but a real nice original survivor that you don't find everyday. The routine oil change/service was done on 8-28-15 and the truck is ready to go. If you are looking for a nice turn key driver that can handle any of your towing needs then this is the truck. It starts first turn of the key every time NOT cold blooded & NO hard starting. You will receive compliments/thumbs up wherever you drive it! I cruised it to a show earlier this Summer & was shocked at the attention this '78 brought even when parked next to an SS Camaro & a Mach 1 on the other side of us people gravitated to this truck and wanted to know all about it. Clear Washington State title and tabs are good through August of 2016. You won't be disappointed.
