Thisvehicle was purchased from the original owner who had it on a farm in Iowa, EVER registered it and only used it on his large acreage Farm. It had one repaint by it's original owner back in the seventies to it's original color and then put away into a barn for some 40 years. The second adult owner bought it from this original owner, itled and registered the vehicle for the first time in Plymouth Massachusetts after put much time and money into it. Some of the items are New gas tank, ines, rakes wheel cyl, nd lines. brand new tires and split rims, ll fluids and maintenance, ebuilt carb, tc.. everything to make it safe and road worthy.. all this work was done bya professional classic car restorer and with keeping originality in mind, ave a folder with tons of receipts totaling thousands spent on the truck, ncluding owners manuals and other documents. This truck has minimal surface rust as it was used, e had it for three yearswhen hebought it with 17k original miles and then put about 3,000 more on it (about a 1000 per year) over the next three years. I purchased this vehicle with the intensionin mind to restore it to the next level as it would be an easy project being already so close to excellent condition. It starts right up, uns smooth and shifts perfect, ot sloppy at all, ndruns out like a vehicle with only 20k miles... If I had to be critical with anything mechanically, he steering floats a little and one head lamp is out. other than that, drive it all over the place and everyone gives me thumbs-up and it's a hit at the car shows. This vehicle can be driven as is and restore a little here and there as you go or bring it back to a full original resto and have a $50k vehicle, heck out what they're getting for them minted out. Again recap: all original engine, rans (4spd on the floor), ear, nd body panels, in/ data tag mounted on the glove box door, rand new tires/rims, rake all gone thru, uch time and money already invested innew parts, ons of fun to drive idles perfect and performs excellent for a 1954 truck....
