Description for Ford Mustang 1965

1965 Ford Mustang project- 289 V8, 4 automatic transmission, ower steering, oupe with factory vinyl top. I've had this car stored in my shop for almost 12 years and finally decided to thin out some of my projects to concentrate on others. This car still has the original 289 2bbl engine and C4 transmission and 5 bolt suspensionthat it came with. The engine turns over by hand, o it's not locked up. The trans is still all connected, ut I never drove the car, o condition is unknown. The body obviously needs to be restored, ut for the most part, he front frame rails are very solid- no rust through like most; front rails under the floors also look pretty good although it will need floor pans on both sides. The rear frame rails are solid to over the axle, eed the rear sections replaced as well as the trunk floor drops. Included in this auction is a new left front fender, nd an original right front that has been patched, new rear quarter panels, new rear frame rail extensions, nd a pair of good usable complete doors (4 total doors). The hood is in good shape as is the trunk lid. The only exterior panel not included is the front splash pan under the bumper. I've also included a good rear bumper with brackets as well. All the glass is good, indshield does have some scratches, ut I have a second one included. The chrome trim for front and rear windows is also included. The engine is mostly complete, t's missing the distributer and carb although I've included both in the trunk as well as an alternator and brackets. It originally had power steering that was robbed off at some point. I've included a good power steering pump and bracket, he center link, nd slave cylinder. It also came from the factory with a/c although all of it has been removed. It does still have the original GT dual exhaust with trumpets. The interior is disassembled, ut most of it is still there or included. The headliner is nice and doesn't seem to have any tears or holes. The dash has been cut for a radio and I've included an original section from a doner car to make the repair. There are 2gauge clustersincluded, glove box doors, sh tray,rear seats, teering wheel and column, eater box assembly complete, iper motor and bracket, inkage, adio, nd interior trim panels for rear quarters (2 sets) and doors. The front seat are missing. The trunk is full of extra parts for this project. The original door was replaced, ut I do still have the factory data plate! The data plate decodes as a 1965 Mustang coupe, 89 2bbl v8 engine, 4 transmission, lack on black interior, ilversmoke gray exterior, inyl top, uilt Dec 22, 965, old in Los Angeles, :80 rear axle. This is a project that has most of the parts here to complete. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer them as soon as possible. If you see something missing, t's probably in the trunk- or just ask. The car obviously does not run, o it will need to be trailered when picked up. I can assist with loading if need be. I do not have a title for this car although I've owned it for over 12 years. It will be sold with a bill of sale only. Sold as is, 500 deposit due within 48 hours of end of auction unless otherwise agreed upon prior to end of sale. Car will need to be picked up within 7 days of end of auction.
