Description for Ford Other 1956
Up for auction is a rust-free 1956 Ford Customline with 21. 40 original miles. (It is being relisted because the winner of the auction. randazzo1209. will not pay the deposit). I believe I am the 2nd owner. This car was repainted once in the green that you now see. I had the Wimbeldon White added and it greatly improved the overall appeal of the car. I always get plenty of thumbs up when driving. I try to drive all of my cars on a regular basis to keep them running smoothly. The repaint green was removed before the white was applied to avoid excessive paint layers which only shortens the life of the finish. It has a 3 speed column shift with working overdrive. The interior was reupholstered before my purchase. It is not original design. but is a smart looking short velour that is compatible with overall color scheme. It has a green carpet with some fading near the pedals. It is any easy car to drive and a fun car to drive. I've done the following since owning:- new radiator (I ruined the bottom outlet on the original while replacing the hose)- New radiator & heater hoses as well as thermostat- new wheel cylinders & shoes- new master cylinder- new brake light switch- new front brake hoses- new fuel pump- new plugs. wires. points condenser. rotor. cap. coil & resistor-4 new Cooper radials + front end alignment- replaced carburetor with a rebuilt from Dennis Carpenter Ford Parts The following do not work:- clock- radio- heater (blower works. but either a clogged heater core or bad water valve. The car comes with proper bumper jack & tire iron. original Bill of Sale. original owner's manual. and a copy of the initial Tennessee title. a used cover. and a few spare parts. There is no rust as you can see from the undercarriage pictures. There is a paint blemish below the trunk lid driver's side. I'm not sure what it is. but it is not rust (see picture). When my tire guys put on the new ones. they commented that this car is a real cream puff. It has dual exhaust with glass packs and has a great sound. Very quick for a small Y Block. Auction winner is responsible for pick up and delivery. I will work with any company you chose to pick up and deliver. I have tried to list details of the car to the best of my ability. The sale is final and the vehicle is not returnable. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if car is sold locally or for any other reason. If you have any questions that I have not answered here. please call (828)557-8478. Leave a message if I don't answer. I will return your call. I pride myself in openness. integrity and honesty. I have tried to let you know of any flaws that I am aware of. They are all minor. You are welcome to inspect at any mutually agreeable time. A $500. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours o auction's close. Use Paypal. Balance is due witnin 7 days of the auction's close.
