On offer here today is a great example of a 1948 Ford Super Deluxe 2 Door coupe! We purchased this car some time ago because we had not gotten to drive a nice 1948 Ford in some time! Now, e are selling because we are looking to thin down our collection a little bit and create some space! This 1948 Ford Super Deluxe is, ithout a doubt, ne of the most dependable cars which we have in the shop. Without exception, his car fires up on the first turn every single time without the use of the choke. This is obviously not such a common attribute if you have many years of experience with these old cars like we do!
In addition, his 1948 Ford runs and drives excellently. The car does not overheat, hifts through the gears smoothly, racks straight and true, teers well, nd the clutch engages perfectly, ust as you would want!
The interior of this 48 Ford is in very nice shape but does have some obvious patina as seen in the photographs. Overall, his is just a very honest car. Nothing is perfect about it but everything has a good amount of honest patina. The engine compartment has clean and presentable and the trunk has just benefited from a nice detailing to impress onlookers at shows.
Overall, he cosmetic condition of the car is that of a nice, onest driver quality car. You will not find perfect paint or chrome on this car but you will find a car with no rust or mechanical issues that we know of in our time of ownership. This is a car which would serve as a more than adequate driver car for its next custodian or a fantastic entry level car for the enthusiast who is just now getting into the classic car hobby! It would also make for an excellent candidate for restoration if the next owner does choose to go in that direction! Overall, hough, he car by no means needs a restoration. It is a hoot to drive and just does everything right! One thing is for certain, e are going to miss this car when it is gone as it has served as a trustworthy and enjoyable car during our time of ownership!
