This is a nice driver quality 1967 Ford Fairlane GTA 2dr hardtop. Runs and drives well and is currently registered. Always a California car.Equipped with a 390(2 barrel), utomatic, ower steering, nd power brakes. The engine runs very well and the transmission shifts like it should. The engine, rans and accessories were rebuilt in the 90's. Has new mufflers and tail pipes. Tires still have the nubs on them. A lot of effort went into this car making it correct. Take a close look at the pictures and you can tell it is a nice car. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed.Number's matching car, lock 7E15, anifold 7E19, eads C7AE(E) (DF). As well as items like the air cleaner 7E and wiper motor June 14 67 to mention a few.The interior is very nice with the seats and carpets having been replaced with the correct materials and pattern. The rest of the interior door panels, ick panels and headliner is original as can be seen in pictures. The bucket seats are original to the car. Take a good look at the pictures and you can tell this has always been well kept..Has had one repaint done at least 18 years ago which shows well but does have minor imperfections. It was painted in enamel and color sanded and buffed so it has a great age correct look to the car. If you look close at the pictures you will notice a couple areas where there is some discoloration in the paint which I assume is filler, he most noticeable being the right door. The paint under the hood, runk and door jambs is original so you can see this was a well cared for car all it's life. The car was garaged in a parking structure for the last 17 years and because of this it does have some door dings and chips from people opening doors into it. While not perfect by any means this is a car that still shows well. Rust- This has to be one of the best rust free Fairlanes left in existence. The only rust is in the front of the rear 1/4 panels just behind the rear wheels about the size of a quarter. No rust anywhere else period. 99.9% of collectors wouldn't even mention it as it's that small.The chrome and trim are original not replated. While the chrome does have that aged look it still has a great shine/luster to it and the pot metal items are not pitted.Take a good look at the pictures and you can tell it's been garaged and well cared for all of it's life. Cars like this just don't come around that often even here in California.This car was built in the San Jose Assembly plant and spent it's early years in San Francisco(have old registration cards back to 1973) then made its way to L.A. and was sold at the Court Fox (some call it Hollywood Ford) Ford Dealership on Hollywood and Sunset Blvd. in 1998. In the last 18 years the car has been used sparingly and less than 1,000 miles have been put on during this period. Overall a very nice driver quality car that you will be proud to own and drive.
