Description for Ford Model T 1915

VIDEO

Up for bid is a very nice 1915 Ford Model T Touring. I purchased this car from a man who owned it for over 40 years and owned a farm in Connecticut where it had been all that time. The car from what I can see has most of its original sheet metal and was not made up or pieced together like so many you see.
The motor was completely rebuilt and set up for touring about two years ago and has very few miles since. The Transmission was also gone through and new Kevlar Bands installed. This car runs just great and is very strong and would perform excellent on any tour. As I said this motor was set up for touring and has the distributor installed along with a self starter and all the lights are in excellent working order including the brake light. You have the original coil box that is in wonderful shape and I have three coils that come with the car and if one wanted you could always be connected back. I however like it better this way as you can really enjoy this car. There are Rocky Mountain brakes installed and the car stops very well. No matter the weather this Model T starts better than my new car. When you saw me start it in the movie I had forgotten to put the gas down a bit so it spun a few extra times but I assure you this car starts right away.
Now as for the cosmetics of this nice car, he paint was done about three years ago and was done well as you can see from the pictures. The body on this car is very strait as are the fenders and the fit of the doors overall are really good. Right after I purchased the car I went through everything that it needed and did a refresh of the car which included some painting of the fenders and the entire undercarriage. I also just finished the entire interior of the car because the old interior was tired a bit and not done correct to my liking. The top is also beautiful with a nice correct grain to it like it should have. The original wheels were all done a few years ago by the Amish in Pennsylvania and are very strong. The Brass Radiator is a beauty and one of the nicest I have seen and the car runs out cool. Installed is a water pump, Warner speedometer (that works), unning board tool box and a luggage rack. The man had installed a bulb horn that looks to me to be a 1912 example and the tail lamp is from a 1914 however both look so good I did not want to change them. The glass is excellent is the windshield frame. The car drives out really well and steers nice.
Well there you have it, car that may not be an AACA car but something that looks close and would be great to tour and enjoy with the family and would fair very well at shows and needs nothing. Priced very fair, est of luck to all.

I accept all checks, oney orders and credit cards including Pay-Pal, ersonal checks must clear my bank before I can let the car go.
