Description for Ford Bronco 1966
**Call or Text me if you want more details or pictures sent via text or email. Shawn 661-714-1584 I'm the 3rd owner of the Bronco. all Montana owned so rust wasn't a major issue. When I purchased the Bronco last year I replaced the very few rust problems which were the drivers side door hinge pillar. front floor boards on both driver and passenger side. The original owner painted the Bronco the current green apps 10 years ago and the paint shows some scratches and small ding on drivers front fender. The tailgate was replaced with a new original that is rust free but as seen in the pictures the tailgate is a slightly lighter color green. Mechanical: The original 289 motor was rebuilt by a machinist hired by previous owner and I'm told it was bored out to a 302 and RV cam installed. The motor breathes through an aluminum 4bb intake manifold and carbonated by a brand new Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. It starts right up and sounds very nice at idle and when accelerating. it has plenty of power. I had a brand new Saginaw heavy duty power steering pump installed this summer and and custom brackets that anchor the PS set up the frame. all new belts as well drive the engine. It's riding on the original axles and no problems as it's my daily driverElectrical: I completely replaced all electrical from front to back on the Bronco with a brand new modern "Centech" wiring harness. The ignition is fired with a brand new electronic MSD Red ignition system. Also a brand new "Red Top" Optima battery 2 months ago. Exterior: I have both a white hard top included and also a black soft top with frame. The windshield folds forward and latches to hood as original but latch pin is missing. Transmission: It has a 3 speed manual transmission that was originally on column but previous owner converted the shifter to the floor with a Hurst kit. The 4 wheel drive shifter is also on center of floor works as does 4wd. Interior: All original seats have were professionally re-upholstered in October and I just need to bolt them all in still. The seats were upholstered in black vinyl as original on original seats. I will also throw in a pair of front seats from a more modern vehicle that have the high back and head rest if you want to use them instead. A brand new pair of shoulder/waist seat belts purchased from Wildhorse Bronco that bolt onto the 4 point roll cage. The entire interior tub of the Bronco was professionally line x sprayed professionally in September. I also have a brand new glove box that I haven't installed yet. All original gauges work including lights. The cigarette lighter is not connected and the radio is missing. The brand new wiring harness is ready for modern accessories like cb radio. upgraded radio system or any other electric aftermarket accessories. Tires/Wheels: A brand new set of (5) 33"x10" BFG MUD TERRAIN KM2's including a spare (not mounted at this time). All 5 tires are mounted on brand new as of 11/23/14 15" Polished Mickey Thompson Classic wheels. Only about 25 miles on tire/wheel combo and the little stubs are still on the tires. Misc: Also included is a nice black vinyl soft top as pictured with frame assembly. The soft top has a small 1" tear on the back clear plastic window that can easily be replaced by an upholstery shop. The original white hard shell top is included and is in good working condition and it's on it now. I have the original tailgate that I removed and replaced that's included. the original tailgate is nice except it has some bubbling under paint so I just replaced it with a nicer one. I also just purchased a brand new stop light switch. new interior door handles and new interior window crank handles. It also has a 2" Body Lift from Wild Horse BroncoThe Bronco is my daily driver and does great for me. it even gets decent gas mileage around 18-20 mpg I'd estimate. The only complaints I'd say are: When it's cold and until it warms up the pulleys squeak a little and it disappears after driving a bit. I've also wanted to buy new door panels but haven't yet (about $89 for the pair). The paint is decent but not perfect and has the occasional scratch and to make it a show truck it would need a paint job. The last thing I'd say it needs is new seals around doors. Let me know if there are any other questions and I will also add information if there is something I left out from the description. I'm selling to get a bigger truck that I can use for family and or work. looking for a crew cab diesel. Shawn661-714-1584
