This 1934 Ford Truck Custom boasts a 292 cubic in. Thunderbird Y-Block power plant that was rebuilt by previous owner. Holding the motor firmly and stylishly to the frame are custom art-deco mounts that were machined to perfection. Breathing life into this engine is a polished aluminum high-rise intake topped with (3) 2-barrel (6-pack) rebuilt 59 carbs. that are finished off with linkage and custom air cleaners. Matching the style of the air cleaners. are custom 1. 75" headers with matching tips. Aluminum "Thunderbird" valve covers makes this a nice clean engine case. Socket style distributor w/vacuum advance is dropped into the block. ready for spark plug wires. Parts for the mechanical side of this truck include starter. brass up/down flow radiator. water pump/timing chain cover. and oil pan. Behind the 292 cubic in. is a 3-speed manual transmission out of a 40's Ford. Newly surfaced clutch/flywheel make this a complete transmission with new chrome Hurst floor shifter w/ball. A drive line is included with this truck. but needs to be cut to length. Rounding out this drive train is a Dana 44 rear end which is a very reliable differential. The original frame has been boxed and shaved for reliability. which is also sectioned in the rear to accomodate it's new custom suspension. Leafs in the back are complimented with fabricated shock mounts. which include new shocks. The front is an solid I-beam type axle. split wish bone with leaf and new chrome shocks. The middle x-member is out of a 40's Ford to contour to it's transmission. The functional steering is a side mount Vega type box complete with a new 1. 5" steering column and Banjo type wheel. Holding the column in place is a steel dash with (3) gauge cut-outs. Stopping this rolling chassis is a vintage style 4-way drum system. which is plenty for this ride. The body is professionally chopped 3. 5" on the cab. This is NOT a backyard hack job. The bed is a custom fabricated sheet metal design. which compliments the cab stance and style. The grille shell w/custom insert and custom search light style headlight brackets with brass lens rings along with tail lights really finishes the look of this amazing eye catcher. The fuel cell included is a 15-gallon black plastic Tanks USA w/ round mount brackets. The Vintage 17" red wire wheels w/chrome center caps are wrapped with Lester Tire Co. 4" white wall tires (5. 25/5. 50R17 4-ply). This a REAL STEEL/NO RUST 1934 Ford. with a clear title and current California license plates and registration (no penalties. DMV fees or liens). Pink slip is in hand. This build was again done professionally and can easily be finished with a few additional parts and labor. To some this might seem like a project. but to anyone who knows the industry it is a great stage to be in since 70% of the work is complete. The last 30% or less depending if you want a fabricated look or fully restored running vehicle can easily be accomplished.
