1968 Ford F 100 SWB Fleetside Street Rod project starter kit with 302 V8 and automatic offered by Gas Monkey Garage with. .Ford introduced the F series of truck in 1948 and Americans have been in love with them ever since making them the #1 selling truck in North America (for 24 years the F series was the #1 selling vehicle in the U.S.!) We acquired this nicely preserved example built at the Dallas, exas plant in July 1968.The original 240 CID 6 Cyl. Engine has been replaced by a newer 302 V8 but the project stalled and will need completion to start for the first time( looks like it needs some wiring and other minor items, ut unable to confirm the functionality of any components or completeness of this project, ee all pics and bid accordingly!). The door hinges are tight & solid, he floor is fairly solid with minor rust perforation present on the drivers and passengers floor boards (see all pics) as are the cab corners that are firmly mounted. Bed pics reveal a fairly straight and solid floor and sides. there is evidence of body work in the top of the bed rails and behind the L.R. wheel opening in preparation for painting. The Tailgate also has some body work present.Underside pics reveal a solid frame, loor & suspension components with superficial rust present on most components (see all pics). The exterior is solid and fairly straight with minor nicks and dings. The interior is fairly complete and would benefit from some lovin’.This truck does not run or drive and will need complete servicing to ensure safety and reliability (due to our filming schedule, e can’t service this truck prior to delivery and we can’t build it for you Sold as is/where is!)
