Description for Ford Mustang 1973
For sale is this beautiful 1973 Mustang convertible. This is a one owner car with only 42000 original miles! With a little time and money this car would be something that anyone would be proud of. This car is an original blue with white interior but has received an amateur paint job in it's original color sometime in it's life. It does have all of it's original body panels and I do not detect any filler. For a New England car it is in great shape and has obviously been stored inside of a garage most of it's life. I have posted many photos to highlight the condition of the rockers, runk floor, orque boxes, rame rails and aprons while also showing the areas of the car that need attention. The bottom of the doors are rotted and I would replace them if I was restoring this car. The hood is original and straight but has been painted a different color. The grill is in two pieces and could be repaired but again I would probably replace it. The seats are in decent condition for their age and only have splits at some of their seems. The 351 cleveland runs well with no knocks or smoke from the exhaust. I have a video of the car running that I will attempt to upload to this listing but can email it per request. I ran the engine by putting the fuel line in a portable gas can, would recommend inspecting the gas tank prior to use. The brakes currently do not work but I will attempt to get them working to make transport easier but no promises. The car does come with a new white replacement top. The windshield is broken due to item being piled on top of it while in it's garage. Also both sport mirrors are broken at their bases but these are easy to find and purchase. Again this is a running 1 owner car with a clean and open Massachusetts title. I was going to restore this car but decided to list it to free up some money for another project I have. If interested I can give you an estimate to complete this car for you. I am an owner of a restoration garage. Please ask any questions prior to purchase. I have an excellent Ebay rating and with to keep it that way. This car is a 351 cleveland 2V with C6 transmission and 2.75 open rear end. Thanks! On Sep-30-15 at 12:44:00 PDT, eller added the following information:
Vehicle does have all of it's original trim and interior pieces (seatbelts, oor panels, ents, un shades, tc). Has it's original front bumper and lower valence as well just did not upload photos because I wanted to get as many photos of the body and undercarriage as possible. I can email more photos of interior and trim if interested. Thanks
