This particular truck with an INTERCEPTOR V-8 352 stock an incredibly rare find it is one of the few swingline years historic all american truck with every piece manufactured in factories around the states a Fourth Generation Ford pickup was the "workhorses" of their day, n 1965 the Twin I-Beam front suspension was introduced to make the handling smoother like a car but still have that quintensential work truck. This truck is one of the last trucks of its kind not redone by hotrodders and car enthusiasists; it has the original paint no touch ups, very dent has been left untouched, he dash is in amazing condition, he upholstory was redone by the owner of the last 18 years in a black naughahyde from zipper door panels to roof, uicide 15 gallon tank behind the bench seat, grill that collectors drool over complete with an original dent, riginal glass unbroken except passenger side mirror, rignal bumpers tail lights but not head lights themselves. Everything runs, rives, pens, atches, urns, rakes good! This is a dream truck. and the motor is the best part RARE one ordered not with the 6 cylinder but this, Interceptor line of Ford V8 engines, he Ford 352 of 351.9cuin (5.8L) actual displacement was the replacement for the Lincoln Y-block. It is a stroked 332 with 3.5 inches (88.90mm) stroke and a 4 inches (101.60mm) bore, nd was rated from 208bhp (155.1kW) with a 2-barrel carburetor to over 300bhp (223.7kW) on the 4-barrel models. When these engines were introduced, hey were calledInterceptor V-8on the base models andInterceptor Special V-8on the 4-barrel models.[18]The 1958 H vin coded 352 was designated asInterceptor V-8 Thunderbird Specialaccording to the 1958 Ford V8 Cars & Thunderbird Service Manual pg 483. The Interceptor was the base-performance engine in 1958. For the 1959 model year, he FE engine series was renamed theThunderbird V-8and theThunderbird Special V-8.[19]When installed in Mercury vehicles, hese engines were named "Marauder".
