This is one sweet ole truck that underwent a frame off restoration approx. 200 miles ago. The truck was taken off the frame and the frame was sandblasted,primed, nd painted. The front straight axlewas completely rebuilt including new king pins. Thesprings were tested and reinstalled with new gas filled shocks. The stock rear end was replaced with a rebuilt unit out of a 76 ford truck. All new gas line and brake lines were installed along with a new power booster and double master cylinder. There was a new disc brake conversion kit added to the front and the back brakes were completely rebuilt with all new wheel cylinders and brake mechanisms. All body panels on the truck were repaired and made super flat before the base/coat paint was applied. The truck body was color sanded and buffed to a high gloss. Everything that has been installed on the truck was brand new including: emblems, rim, ll the glass, nd every bit of cab weather stripping. The engine is a rebuilt 302 cu in that starts and runs great. The Ignition is the Petronix electronic distributor and coil, he carb is a rebuilt Holley 2 barrel w/manual choke, he air cleaner is originally a 56 oil bath unit converted to paper filter, nd the valve covers sport the original 56 valve cover stickers. The generator has also been converted to an alternator for better charging. The transmission is a rebuilt c-6 unit. The truck has been converted to 12v and a new wiring harness and all new gauges have been installed. The wiper and heater motors, long with all electrical switches, ave all been replaced new. The interior of the truck sports a new seat cover, eadliner, ick panel, nd a new rubber floor mat. The bed of the truck is in beautiful condition and is all new. The flat bed frame was sandblasted, rimed, nd epoxy painted for longevity. The wood is red oak that was coated with 3 coats of a new Australian type of stain know for prolonged life. All the bed strips, olts, nd mounting hardware were replaced with new. This truck was built to look old school but to have all the modern conveniences that we have come to appreciate in today's modern driving. There was nothing that was left undone on this truck. It was restored professionally and it shows. I would have to appraise this truck as #1 truck, eeing as this baby is about as close to perfect as I have seen. Absolutely a " No Excuse Truck "!
