Description for Ford Mustang 1965
1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 CloneExcellent car and Super Driver. This car is high lighted by a strong running 289 with a 5 speed Trans, ack and Pinion Steering, ilt Column and 4 wheel Disk Brakes. This car has a strong running 289 v8 that was rebuild 5 or so years ago by the previous owner. It has an Eldebrock Intake Manifold and Carb. Starts up cold or warm no issues and runs good. It just had a fresh tune up. The engine compartment also is highlighted by an aluminum radiator, new alternator, attery, attery cables, ap, otor, lug wires, park plugs. This car is a driver. It handles well and it has an excellent feel. Its not a race car but just a great car to drive. The rack and pinion in non power as well as the brakes. I've had and driven many many old mustangs. I prefer the non power rack and pinion steering set ups. The road feel is excellent. Too many times the steering is so light with a power rack and pinion that there is no road feel. The non power rack and pinion steers in a parking lot much easier than a regular non power steering stock mustang. The same goes with the 4 wheel disk brakes. The feel is excellent. The pedal effort is moderate but much easier than a stock drum brake mustang or a disk front rear drum Mustang stock braking system. The interior is very nice. Sorry I don't have better pictures. Aftermarket guages and dash work well and look great. The seats are in good condition. The rear seat is a FOLD DOWN! Also there is a roll bar like a real shelby. The car is in excellent condition with no rust to really speak of. The underside and frame are in excellent shape. The paint is driver paint. It shines up nice but there are plenty of knicks and dings. It is also starting to bubble slightly in a couple areas. I wouldn't worry too much about it and just drive the car and have fun! This car just passed Delaware motor vehicle inspection and is currently tagged and insured. Please contact me for my phone number if you would like to discuss the car or come to see it for an inspection. I can take more pictures if you like. Also I have a video of the car running if you would like to hear it!I am located in New Castle, E about 30 minutes south of the Philadelphia Airport.
