Please read this description carefullyUp for auction is my 1938 Ford Business Coupe no back seat model. Car is a southern car originally. I have owned it 8 years. This car is all original down to the manual non hydraulic brakes. Since I have owned it I have had the motor fully cleaned and rebuilt, hen it was rebuilt it was upgraded to adjustable tappets and has a modern type spin on oil filter as 1938 models originally had no oil filtration system. Car has a spotlight too. I have also had the starter, enerator, adiator and steering box rebuilt as well as the original brake system and 4 white wall tires as well. I have over 10 thousand dollars of receipts that come with the car from work that has been done to the car by shops that specialize in these old cars. The engine compartment was also detailed when this work was completed. Connecticut doesn't issue titles for cars this old when i registered this car they made me surrender the old title, ar is sold with a ct q1 form and copy of current registration, ar is currently registered and insured. The paint was done some time I the late 50s or early 60s, nbsp;there was some damage to the roof that was bonded a long time ago and is cracking see pic, never had it fixed as you can't see it unless you climb on the running board and look and I have always garaged this car, he previous owner said it happened in storage over 60 years ago when some thing fell on roof. Car is pretty solid and presentable for being over 75 years old Paint still has a nice shine, as some scratches which is expected with something this old. Car is non synchro 3 speed on the floor which requires a double clutching skill. Car also has a manual choke which needs to be played with u til car warms up. These cars unmolested don't come around very often. 6 volt battery is brand new. I also had the temp gauge rebuilt as well it is a thermometer type. These cars don't come around much un butchered. The car is sold as is. There is a 200 dollar deposit due via pay pal 48 hrs after the auctions close. The balance is to be paid in cash only, o checks or money orders accepted.
