You are viewing a beautiful example of this 1971 Ford Mustang Convertible. This car is a 1 owner car since new and it was always garaged kept. The original owners past away and left it to their daughter who restored both mustangs this 1971 and a 1967 convertible as well they were his and her cars. Both will be on auction buy tomorrow. This 1971 is Originally Red with a black interior and Black Power top. The original 302 engine was replaced during the restoration with a new completely rebuilt 351 C 2V . She restored the car back to is original condition when her parents bought them new. She spent over 30 k in the restoration. The paint is stunning and looks perfect. All panels were removed when the car was painted. The body came off the fame and was blasted and painted like when new. The undercarriage is beautiful . All new suspension. New shock, ew gas tan, ngine and transmission were both rebuilt at same time . The car is a Nut and Bolt restoration. There is nothing old or rusty on this car. Its Originally a Power steerin, ower brake care with Factory AC. the Ac is not hooked up currently but all the plumbing is there so it wouldn't be difficult to do. The interior in the car is Original and looks like new. The seats are perfect as is the door panel, arpets and Dash. center console is also complete and excellent. It has a am/fm period correct radio and works great. Press a lever and the power top goes up and down effortlessly.Its a brand new top. These cars are Rare since only 6121 Convertibles were made in 1971 . If your looking for a mustang convertible that you can drive everyday or take to shows and enjoy then this is the car. Again it was a complete restoration completed 2 years ago and has only traveled 1500 miles since. This car is still a classic and nothing like today's new cars that copied the era of true muscle cars.
